Insurance companies look after their own interests not yours. Under the workers compensation act attorney fees are paid pursuant to the law in almost all instances by the insurance company.
An injured employee really needs a skilled lawyer to represent them in their case. The law is complicated don't do it alone when you can have effective legal counsel to assist you.
Don't give a statement to the insurance company they will try to use it against you.
Often insurance companies try to take advantage of an injured employee and try to resolve matters for less than what you might be owed or entitled to under the law - don't let them do it.
